1. Medical surgical mask: first untie the strap on the bottom or one side, and then untie the strap on the top or the other side;
2. Medical protective mask: first use the right hand to pinch the neck strap and pull it back, go around the top of the head to loosen the strap, and then use the same technique to loosen the upper strap.
When removing the mask, do not touch the front (contaminated surface) of the mask. Hold the strap of the mask with your hand and throw it away. Masks worn by healthy people can be disposed of according to the requirements of household garbage classification. Masks worn by suspected cases or confirmed patients should be handled in strict accordance with the relevant procedures for medical waste.
